Pool Requirements

...those pools from big box stores are popping up everywhere again this year. I have a form letter that’s addressed to ‘resident’ which so far has gotten positive results. There’s always the angry resident who acts like I’m the one that put it in for him and I should be the one getting him/her the fence and putting it up, before the big weekend party. I lean towards the convincing, rather than the threatening route to start off with, warning them of the dangers along with the legal ramifications and giving them a deadline to get things in order, explaining what’s available at our office.

I get frustrated with the ‘Namco’s that don’t inform the customer at all about their responsibility regarding the Building Code, other than leaving that to the fine print on one of the boxes or instructions that the installers tossed.
