Description:Commercial Kitchen Ventilation Systems
Presentation by Kevin Duncan, Regional sales manager for CaptiveAire Systems. Description of Program: Overview will be presented on commercial kitchen ventilation, applicable codes, and current design methods. This would include Tank Fire Suppression System and an overview on wet chemical systems in general. We will also include our integrated HVAC approach to kitchen makeup air.
6Program Objectives:
- Understanding the key elements of IMC and NFPA96 as they commercial kitchen ventilation systems
- NFPA96 Compliant Types of Fire Suppression Systems
- Understanding the different types of hoods and kitchen appliances
- Understanding the impact of commercial kitchen hood systems on the HVAC of the building
