The Mission of the Connecticut Building Officials Association (CBOA) is to promote the Building Code Profession as integral to building safety and advance the understanding, formulation and enforcement of the Connecticut State Building Code.

The Connecticut Building Permit Process

AIA CT is announcing on April 23rd a program on the CT Building Permit Process will be offered. For those wishing to attend please see the registration link below:

Code Change Proposals (CCPs)

Proposals will be accepted from March 1, 2024 through April 15, 2024 for all currently available 2024 I-codes only. There will be a second round of CCPs that will be accepted for a 45-day window approximately June, 2024 once the International Residential Code (IRC) and the International Energy Conservation Codes (IECC) are available online.
