The course begins by explaining the physical and structural characteristics of MgO as a material. It also explains how MgO panels can meet code requirements for sound attenuation and fire resistance. This course also compares and contrasts the performance and installation procedures and the impacts on construction cycle time of MgO panels versus wet-laid gypsum underlayment.
