Seeking Candidate for Codes and Standards
Submitted by Anthony Cinicola on Tue, 11/12/2024 - 14:11The Connecticut Building Officials Association is currently in the process of seeking a candidate to succeed Henry Miga, representing a licensed building official member on the Codes & Standards Committee. The Connecticut Legislature established the Codes & Standards Committee under CGS §29-251 to work with the State Building Inspector and the State Fire Marshal for the development and enforcement of the State Building and Fire Safety Codes. The committee is also responsible for the hearing of appeals and for licensure / certification revocations.

Code Change Proposals (CCPs)
Submitted by Anthony Cinicola on Wed, 03/13/2024 - 13:41Proposals will be accepted from March 1, 2024 through April 15, 2024 for all currently available 2024 I-codes only. There will be a second round of CCPs that will be accepted for a 45-day window approximately June, 2024 once the International Residential Code (IRC) and the International Energy Conservation Codes (IECC) are available online.
